SANDPIPER’s Standard Duty diaphragm pumps offer a balanced solution for operations that require reliable fluid handling without excessive energy use or maintenance demands. These air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pumps are designed to move chemicals, water, and other industrial fluids efficiently across a wide range of general-purpose and bulk transfer applications.

Both the S20 (2") and S30 (3") models feature an upgraded design that builds on proven performance. Engineered for higher flow and enhanced durability, these pumps help streamline operations and reduce long-term operating costs.

SANDPIPER’s Standard Duty diaphragm pumps are engineered for both high output and easy, in-line maintenance, helping you move more with less air and less disruption. The S20 delivers up to 198 gpm, outperforming similar 2" pumps by as much as 32%. The S30 pushes capacity further to 285 gpm while requiring up to 56% less air, offering 2.7 times greater air economy than comparable options. These performance gains help reduce strain on compressed air systems and can lower annual operating costs by up to 67%.

To further reduce downtime, our standard duty pumps include SANDPIPER’s exclusive ESADS+Plus Air Distribution System, which allows fast access to the air valve components without removing the pump from service. 

Metallic and Non-Metallic Options to Match Your Application

• Metallic Models: Available in Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and Cast Iron, these pumps are suited for high-throughput chemical processing, water treatment, and other plant-wide systems where rugged construction is essential.
• Non-Metallic Model: Available in Polypropylene or PVDF, this model offers corrosion resistance for harsh chemical environments. It’s 24% lighter than the previous S30 design and supports flow rates up to 280 gpm, making it ideal for bulk chemical transfer applications.
